Blood on the Clocktower Info

In the peaceful village of Ravenswood Bluff, a demon hides among you... Do you have the skill to uncover who it is?

If you enjoy discussion, puzzle-solving, and a bit of playful deception, this event is right up your alley! Whether you're new to social deduction games or a seasoned player, this session is specially geared toward newcomers, and you’ll have the chance to play alongside experienced players who are ready to guide you. I’ll be there as your host (or "Storyteller") to explain everything and run the game for everyone.

What to Expect: Similar to games like Werewolf or Mafia, Blood on the Clocktower is a team-based game for 7 or more players, with one player secretly chosen as the "demon." The demon’s goal? Stay hidden, eliminate the townsfolk one by one, and outwit the group. The town’s mission? Uncover the demon’s identity, identify their minion(s), and execute them to save the town!

Every player has a unique character ability that may help reveal the demon's identity. Plus, even if you “die” in the game, you're not out—you still play an active role in the mystery!

We play a variety of scripts, including the base three and some more complex custom games. To make sure we can fit in two full games, please arrive on time. Advance sign-up is essential due to limited space, so please register beforehand.

It’s also recommended that players have some experience with Blood on the Clocktower, but if you're new, check out this 10-minute game overview to get a feel for the rules and strategies:

Please note that access to the event space is by stairs only.

I’d love to see you there! Feel free to reach out with any questions—I’ll be happy to answer them.

Guidelines

Our community is built around the enjoyment of social deduction games. While the excitement can lead to passionate discussions, let’s remember that it’s a game. Keep the competitive spirit within the game and prioritize everyone’s well-being afterward. Your sportsmanship is essential to a positive and enduring community.

We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment for all, including our LGBTQ+ members. Any form of anti-LGBTQ+ behaviour will not be tolerated. We also recognize that some personalities may be stronger than others, but we actively discourage dominating and domineering behaviour. Personal attacks on a player’s character or opinion won’t be tolerated.

Please avoid talking over others, and give everyone the opportunity to speak. Some may feel intimidated if others are continuously talking loudly. Let’s also keep discussions focused on the game and use game-related language rather than phrases that could be taken as personal.
